You must be a graduate student or postdoc.

This group is meant to support women and gender minorities going through the graduate and postdoc process.

Graduate students and postdocs affiliated with interconnected departments/fields are welcome!

Undergraduate students may be permitted on a case-by-case basis.

Educating is our priority. Be open to learning.

We understand that everyone has different perspectives. Our goal is to create a safe space for women and gender minorities to be heard and to foster a dialogue around the inequalities women and gender minorities face everyday.

We implement a two strike policy. Strike one will result in a conversation with a WiPAO organizer. Strike two will result in a temporary suspension from group activities until a conversion with a trained mediator present can occur.

Serious offenses may forfeit your first strike and you may be asked to leave.

Serial offenders will be asked to leave the group.

If you need a report an individual who isn't following these WiPAO rules at an event, on the discord or on the forum, please let WiPAO organizers know so that we can approach them and try to resolve the situtation following the guidelines listed above. If you can't find us in person, please use this link to get in touch and we'll take it from there.
